Daphne comes from a long line of Superior Genetics and excellent mammary systems - a very packed pedigree!  Both sire and dam ooze dairy character which has been passed on to Daphne!  Daphne is long and very level and refined like her dam, and so graceful and feminine when in motion.  She freshened with a lovely first udder this year, displaying nice lateral attachments with great height, medial and teat size.  Her udder is very comparable to her sire's dam's udder, Old Mountain Farm Moonshadow.  I see a lot of similarities there.  She milks out nicely, despite not being the biggest fan of the milk stand.  I'd like to see a bit more arch and better placed teats but suspect a second freshening with more volume will show an improvement in those areas.  I'd pair her with bucks that have better rear legs as Daphne's hocks turn in a little, like her dam's.  She is friendly, but not overly so.  Prefers to hang back and watch the herd and doesn't cause any drama.  She easily kidded with triplets as a first freshener and has been an ideal mom.
