Willow is a super sweet goat who hit the show ring for the first time in 2019 as my daughter's 4-H project.  Willow displayed such a wonderfully mellow, cooperative demeanor (despite a lack of training on lead) during Showmanship that she was requested by another 4-H kiddo to use for Master Showmanship.  Willow was notably "fleshy" (overweight) at fair and placed in the middle of the large Dry Yearling class for conformation.  So proud of how Willow behaved in this new, overwhelming setting!

I'm quite pleased with Willow's first freshening udder.  She displayed a beautiful, smoothly blended foreudder, and good lateral and rear attachments.  I am pleased to see improvement over her dam in udder height and arch, I expect them to improve just a little more with additional freshenings.  Willow has been a champ on the milk stand from day one.  She hopped right up there like she knew what to expect and let me hand milk her without moving; all the while her head wasn't even secured in the head-gate!  I love this little one's ever cooperative, super friendly personality!  Her first litter also displayed a naturally outgoing personality!

I will continue to breed her to bucks who may improve upon rump width with higher thurls, stronger pasterns, and better teat placement and medial support.

Willow is being offered for sale.  She kids so easily, and makes a great milker with wonderful stand manners!  I'm looking to narrow down my lines and focus on just a few and that's the primary reason I'm letting her go.  She is wonderful with people but sometimes a bit bossy within the herd that she has grown up with.  She would be an amazing 4-H Showmanship project animal.  :)
