Midnight is a sweet little doe who loves attention.  Midnight freshened with a will to milk!  She is currently averaging 1.7 pounds of milk at morning milking and milks her triplets throughout the rest of the day.  I wasn't able to continue with evening milkings once her kids left and was still trying to transition her to once a day milkings.  I failed her for her first Linear Appraisal and her udder was far from full.  Such a shame as you can see in the pictures above, she has a nice height and arch to her udder but this was just not visible at LA.  Being that mammary system is 35% of the overall score, this mistake really effected her final score.  The appraiser commented that she had a wonderful udder texture, medial support, a coat and structurally still has some maturing to do.
