Sunset Knoll reserves all rights at first selection for each kidding and will be determined after kidding. Kids will be added to this page as they arrive; all remaining available kids will be posted on the For Sale page.

PLEASE NOTE:  This page is subject to change as we may decide to switch up breeding pairs as late as the day of breeding.

All due dates are approximate.  

​

Wethers are $100.00 or $175.00/pair.  Doelings and bucklings start at $275.00 and are up to $400.00.  Prices vary depending on conformation, genetics and milk production of dam.  Single goat purchases only to homes that already have goats.  A companion wether can be purchased with any doeling for $75, pending availability.  Discounts available to multi-animal purchases and those who participate in Linear Appraisal and DHIR.

Reservations are FREE until kids are born.  After a kid is born I will notify you of it's availability.  You will have 48 hours to confirm that you want that kid and then a non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to hold a kid.  If I do not hear back from you and/or do not receive your deposit I will assume you are no longer interested and move on to the next person.  The remainder of the balance will be due at the time of pick up once the kid is weaned (at approximately 10-12 weeks old); otherwise the reservation deposit will be forfeited.   Deposits are refunded if the kid dies before pickup, we have determined the kid unfit for sale, or if we choose to cancel the sale.   Deposits are not transferable to another person but you may transfer the deposit to another available goat.

All doelings will be sold registered with the ADGA.  Most bucklings will be sold as unregistered wethers.  Occasionally we may have a buckling worthy of keeping in tact.  We choose these bucklings based on proven mammary systems and pedigrees behind the buckling and the conformation of sire, dam and buckling.  For this reason, bucklings from first fresheners will be wethered.  First fresheners still have some maturing to do in order to know if their genetics are worthy of being passed on through a buck.  If you choose to purchase an intact buck, a deposit will be due prior to castration.  Castration typically occurs between 10 and 12 weeks of age.

All kids sold will be disbudded, be up to date on shots, healthy, and have their hooves trimmed.  If you choose to purchase a kid with horns, full payment for the kid will be due up front before it is disbudded.  There is no discount for a horned kid.  Disbudding typically occurs between 7 and 14 days of age.

Sunset Knoll reserves the right to cancel any sale or reservation at any time.

Payment:  Cash and PayPal are welcomed for deposits and/or final payments; personal checks are not accepted.
